JUL 2024 – Anxiety workshop session, we discussed what anxiety is and how to manage it. We talked about how the body reacts to anxiety and shared tips like exercising, creating personal space, and being mindful of our thoughts and emotions.

FEB 2024 – The first round of our Education Sessions 2024 has been successfully kicked off with the help of Tampy and Gabe from Pacific Heartbeat NZ at Heart Foundation NZ.

NOV 2023 – Our last education session for year 2023. One key takeaway from the session is that finding what works best for you in managing your health and involving your healthcare provider and family in the journey is crucial.

AUG 2023 – We know life can get overwhelming sometimes, but taking care of yourself, learning to manage stress and finding inner peace is super important. Wind down before you get wound up. The more anti-stress tools you can learn the better

Kick-off to our first round of Education Sessions at Papatoetoe Family Doctors. It’s all about the skin! How to Safely Manage Eczema at Home. Toitoi Manawa (to inspire or awaken the spirit), where we have community at heart, is our slogan. Our team is committed to hosting health education sessions like this for our enrolled patients and eventually (we hope) for the wider community. Knowledge is power, and aspire to equip and empower you and your whanau’s health and well-being.​

FEB 2023 –

One of the highlights from our kick-off night was seeing other family members from the first cohort join this programme because the lessons and experience “has changed their family for the better” …and now they want it for themselves.

NOV 2022 –

This session will focus on managing respiratory symptoms and how best to prevent and manage respiratory symptoms in your tamariki.

AUG 2022 –

This programme aims to support people living with Type 2 diabetes and their whānau by providing a FREE service valued at $1,000, combining health coaching and nutrition therapy. The start of a new year is the perfect time to take control of your health!
